Saint Pattys Day Scavenger Hunt

If you know me, then you know that I LOVE traditions. What child didn't beg their parents to chase the rainbow to find the leprechaun and his elusive pot of gold? For those who never found it, I have made a scavenger hunt print off that you can use for your Saint Patricks day traditions.

Tie a string to this printable and trail it around the house. At the end - have of the pot of gold- a present, some chocolate covered golf coins etc.

Make your own coasters from cocktail napkins

Loved this DIY project from Apartment Therapy.  Using cocktail napkins and a generic tile you can create adorable coasters.  This seems like a really easy craft project that I may need to try. You can get all the how to's here.

Late Night Paper

This is kind of a follow up to yesterdays post- and I have to say that I am writing this at 3:00 AM, after  a ridiculously prolonged day at the office.  Greg and I figured out that we put in an obsessive 18 hour day in today.  Most people would be quite distraught at the thought of such an atrocity but I am honestly writing this with a huge smile because in just six short days we will be here.  (I do love my life.)

So, on to the post.  Paper- is there anything more lovely made by man than it?  I just thought that these paper butterflies from Royal Buffet were adorable. 

Also, madly in love with the delicate paper stylings of artist Yuken Teruya as seen here via Apartment Therapy.  These were made from toilet paper rolls!

 

These are truly amazing: 

 I do love me some paper.  Now, on to the part of the day where I sleep.  Night all!

Channel

I love the shots of the channel fashion show as shown here from their news page.  There were 7000 handmade paper flowers used which took 4,800 hours to work and assemble. Amazing.

The only thing better that the  shopping at anthro  is the displays. Love the lights tangled with mason jars, lightbulbs and yarn.  

But I think my fav non-tradish light fixtures are from our Intern booth. Light bulbs hanging from a bike!

Tiny Little Valentine

If you know me very well then you know that I am a sucker for tiny little things.   When I was a tiny tot I had a collection of mini porcelain animals- I would carry them around in my pocket and play with them all day long. What can I say? It's the little things that make me smile!  

Valentines day is just around the corner and you can mail your love a mini love letter from The Worlds Smallest Post Office.
