Are you one of those lucky people who has friends scattered around the globe? It's easier than ever to stay in contact with these special people but when my dear friends are across the globe I find it hard to keep that creative connection with them.
I have a few friends who I swap constant inspiration with who are getting ready to make big changes in their life geographically. I recently invited them over for bunch and we started a creative way to keep in touch and we call it "The Coffee Cup Chronicles".

I gave each of my friends a coffee cup and it was with the agreement that they would take a picture of themselves once a week with their cup, no matter where they are in the world and load it to our facebook page and tag one another in it.

My cousin and I do this with a stuffed animals we got at McDonalds when she was here. Not every week, but anytime we do something we think the other one would like, or go somewhere cool, we bring our creatures (I have Grimace, she has a polar bear) and sneak it into a photo op.
